MBBR biological filler is a new type of microbial carrier, the main material is HDPE, which can be selectively modified according to different application fields, and the specific gravity of the filler can be adjusted appropriately. MBBR biological filler will not degrade in wastewater for a long time and will not be toxic to microorganisms. MBBR biological filler has a special structure and strong ability to remove nitrogen and decompose organic matter. It is mainly used in high ammonia nitrogen wastewater, aquaculture circulating water, and traditional sewage plant upgrading and expansion. Because of its high specific surface area, it can also be used to replace traditional waste gas treatment fillers in waste gas treatment. The specific surface area of MBBR filler can reach 520-1500m2/m3. Due to the high specific surface area, the total biomass per unit volume is theoretically high, which can shorten the hydraulic residence time.
